September 01 酸, 老板给我的告别信如果不是因为两个老板，我是不会在两周内从国内飞到巴黎又飞回中国。人生遇到如此莫逆，亦是一大幸事。 下面是Roisin给我的告别信。有点酸 Dear Wenyou,
Laurent and I aren't working together today, but I feel confident that I am replying for both of us. (He and I think alike on most issues, except the bloody posters, of course.)
It was *truly* a pleasure to see you again last week, but sad, too, as we unfortunately had no good news to share with you. We hope that you won't regret taking up our offer to come to Paris and meet with us, for us to update you in person and to give you an opportunity to explore other avenues in Europe. As things have turned out, your return to France will have been very brief indeed, and we sincerely hope that you won't regret having taken the time to fly over for a single professional meeting.
You know, Wenyou, Laurent and I can easily imagine that for you, making this trip may seem like a frustrating experience. However, we would like you to reflect on this: how many stagiaires are capable of having such a strong impact on a company (especially a small struggling one) to the extent that the management team would care enough to fly that person from half way around the world to sit down and brief him/her about where the company was at? Not many, I suspect.
We are sure that your decision to return to China is the right one for you today. You are a very determined person, destined to go places and to succeed. It will happen, even if today, your future looks uncertain.
I have booked your flight to Shanghai on the 4th at 20h20 with Air China. The electronic ticket will follow in a separate mail.
Yes, the 3 of us will meet up again in the future. I firmly believe that.
As to finding the right humoristic sentence? There are situations (not many, mind you) that even I don't find funny. Perhaps this is one of them?
Laurent and I treasure the memories of working with you and of getting to know you as a person. You are special, and were more than instrumental to building Managing Worldwide. So we have to stay in touch, pretty please.
